Project Overview
The project focused on the introduction of an innovative hybrid burner designed to combine advanced combustion technology with modern air supply systems. The new solution was developed using research results acquired from scientific institutions and adapted for commercial implementation.
The technology was designed to efficiently combust two different biomass fuels, including both high-quality wood pellets and lower-grade biomass materials such as wood chips.
Project Objective
The project’s primary objective was to strengthen the market position of MK Mikro Energia through the introduction of a new generation of hybrid biomass burners offering greater fuel flexibility and operational efficiency.
Research and Development Activities
The project included:
- Development of burner construction and combustion chamber designs
- Creation of automation and control systems
- Prototype development and testing
- Evaluation of combustion efficiency under varying operating conditions
- Preparation for commercial production
Project Outcomes
The successful implementation of the project enabled MK Mikro Energia to introduce a new product category and further strengthen its position within the renewable energy market.
The technology became an important step towards the development of advanced dual-fuel combustion systems that would later become one of the company’s key competitive advantages.
